Conrad L. Tatnall , aka DJ RADD 1 decided at a young age that he wanted to play the piano. Since his parents did not feel that there was enough room in their home, he played trumpet instead (in his high school band). Music was a major part of his life and it was natural for him to pick up Djing in his junior year of high school. While growing up in Detroit, his mentor at the time was FM 98, WJLB’s, the "Wizard", who remains one of the hottest DJ’s of all time.

DJ RADD 1 said, "He (referring to “the Wizard”) was a pioneer, he was the Grand Master Flash of Detroit."

DJ RADD 1’s name changed from DJ Untouchable, when in the early 90’s he met a creative promoter who decided that he needed a name with more of an edge to it, and that name has remained with him ever since. 

DJ RADD 1 is a "MASTER MIXER" with over 30 years of experience, who hosted and mixed on the NOTORIOUS CULTURAL VIBE MIXSHOW, IMPACT 89 FM, WDBM, MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY (HOSTED/MIXED 1999-2006). He is currently featured Monday-Friday at 6 PM on 103.7 FM, THE BEAT, MUSKEGON, MI..." This specialty show features a creative blend of Hip Hop, R&B, Ballroom & Hustle, Soul, Pop, Rock, Classics, Reggae, and Dance that sizzles the senses! His mixes can also be heard on CORE DJ radio (www.coredjs.com) and SIRIUS satellite radio (CORE DJs, SHADE 45). 

DJ RADD 1 holds a B.A. in Social Science Pre- Law from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. Currently, he is a licensed attorney working for the State of Michigan. 

Additionally, he owns and operates Waxmasters Records, Metromix Entertainment LLC (Mobile DJ Services) and One Metropolitan Detroit Record Pool that services over 30 DJs.
